Extended abstract Analysis and evaluation of business activity of the enterprise today is one of the main directions of analysis of financial and economic activity of enterprises. Thus, the task of assessing business activity appears as one of the most important for making management decisions in the field of enterprise development, the formation of a strategy for the future. In modern economic conditions, the analysis of business performance plays an important role in ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the enterprise. Business performance is aimed at increasing the market value of the industrial enterprise, promotes survival in competition and leadership among competitors, stimulates the development of production and sales growth, contributes to the stability of the economic potential of the enterprise. Solvency and financial stability of the enterprise depend on the indicators of business performance: production capabilities, optimal composition, structure of assets and capital, adequacy of income and reasonableness of costs, availability of all types of resources. Underestimation of the significance of business performance leads to a deterioration in the values of performance indicators of industrial enterprises [1]. Due to the fact that the business performance of an industrial enterprise must be analyzed, which makes it possible to comprehensively and systematically assess the system of business performance of the enterprise and its structural units in the processes of supply, production and sale. Analysis of business performance prevents the emergence of crisis phenomena in the production and financial activities of the enterprise, prevents the provision of sustainable economic growth, minimizes the risk of inefficient activities of the enterprise [2]. The efficiency and effectiveness of the industrial enterprise depends on the validity of investment and rational use of resources. When conducting a factor analysis of the turnover ratio of assets, it is offered to take into account the impact of such indicators as the turnover ratio of inventories, the share of current assets in total assets and the share of inventories in current assets of the enterprise [3]. The object of the study is the indicators of financial activity of oil-and-gas production department "Boryslavnaftogas" PJSC "UKRNAFTA", and the factors that provide them. The subject of the study is the financial and economic relations that arise in the process of activity of oil-and-gas production department "Boryslavnaftogas" PJSC "UKRNAFTA", which have an impact on its business performance. The objective of the study is to assess and analyze the business performance of oil-and-gas production department "Boryslavnaftogas" PJSC "UKRNAFTA" and development of recommendations or search for ways to improve it There are offers to improve the use of fixed assets to further stabilize financial condition of oil-and-gas production department "Boryslavnaftogas" PJSC "UKRNAFTA". It is offered to create a special additional team to repair the technical equipment of the investigated enterprise. As a result of the implementation of this idea, we observe savings in the number of employees, productivity growth and annual economic effect. An in-depth analysis of the structure of receivables (causes and repayment) and accounts payable (search for sources of repayment). Reduction of receivables has a positive impact on liquidity, validity, business activity and reduces accounts payable. The following methods were used in the master’s thesis: analytical, comparison method, graphic, financial analysis method, SWOT-analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, generalization methods were performed. Information base of oil-and-gas production department "Boryslavnaftogas" PJSC "UKRNAFTA" - internal financial reports of the company for the period from 2017 to 2019; scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, materials of scientific-practical conferences and resources on the Internet. The master’s thesis consists of an introduction, three sections, conclusion and a list of sources used with 30 titles, 12 appendices, 12 tables, 12 figures, 20 formulas.
