Abstract: ABSTRACT Oliynyk AO, Timofeev IL (head). Analysis of the work of the district boiler house in order to improve its technical and economic indicators. Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended annotation. In the master’s qualification work the question of increase of efficiency of work of regional water-heating boiler-house by use as fuel of wood waste from the various enterprises located in the given area is considered. In particular, it is proposed to install 2 solid fuel boilers brand KVR-1,45-95, which are easy to operate, unpretentious to the quality of fuel and with a low purchase price per unit. The work was performed on the basis of the boiler house in Khmelnytsky, on the street. Gorbanchuk 4. The object of study - the processes of heat and mass transfer to heat generating equipment. The subject of the study is the savings on thermal energy production in the region, giving preference to renewable energy sources [1]. The purpose of the study is to increase the efficiency of the boiler room by burning wood and waste from woodworking enterprises. Design and calculate the thermal scheme under the conditions of installation of a solid fuel boiler. Perform selection of equipment and pipelines. Determine the technical and economic performance of the boiler room before and after modernization. The first section describes the general characteristics of the object, there are initial data on the needs of consumers for energy, describes the characteristics of the present boilers, the efficiency of the unit on gaseous fuel, the brand of boilers NOWITER NWT 1,6-150. The principle of water supply of hot water boilers and the work of chemical water treatment (CWT) are described [3]. The second section analyzes the operation of the boiler house according to the existing thermal scheme. The thermal scheme in the heating period, in the medium-heating and in the mode of hot water supply is calculated. The efficiency of boiler room operation in different modes is determined. According to the calculations, the main and auxiliary equipment was checked and installed in accordance with the needs of the boiler house. The paper also considers in detail and calculates the electricity consumption of the boiler house in different operating modes and loads. In accordance with these indicators - calculated technical and economic indicators in detail to the different load of the boiler. The cost of heat production in UAH / GJ is calculated. A study was conducted to improve the efficiency of the boiler house during the non-heating period. For the results of which it is expedient to develop this project, because it will reduce the cost of thermal energy for the utility by 240 UAH / GJ In the design process, measures have been developed to increase the energy efficiency of the boiler house. This will be achieved by installing a solid fuel boiler on renewable energy sources - organic agricultural or wood waste. The selection of the optimal boiler for solving the tasks is performed, its efficiency in the conditions of fuel combustion with different heat capacity is determined, the exhaust gas temperature is calculated [4]. An automated system of water heating process with the use of modern automation means (microprocessor controller SCADA 1015) has been developed, which also helps to increase the efficiency of the boiler system. In particular, it contributes to the efficiency of fuel combustion in the furnace and regulates with greater accuracy the temperature of the water at the entrance to the heating network [5]. According to the results of the work, the economic effect of the proposed measures to improve the boiler room was analyzed. In particular, conclusions were made about the technological and economic feasibility of modernization. Due to the proposed modernization option, it is possible to achieve capital savings in energy production up to UAH 0.5 million / year.
