Analysis of development schemes and modes of 110 kV electric network of PJSC "Rivneoblenergo"

Abstract: PJSC Rivneoblenergo has a significant problem of power shortage in some areas, which requires the development of 110 kV electrical networks [1]. Development of the project of development of an electric network demands the decision of problems: reconstruction of operating substations, their distribution arrangements; reconstruction of existing power transmission lines; design of new substations and lines of electric networks; research of modes of the scheme of development of an electric network. The object of the study is a fragment of the current normal circuit of 110-330 kV electrical connections of PJSC "Rivneoblenergo" with substations "Mills", "Spark" and overhead lines "Grabiv-Iskra" and "Iskra-Mills". The subject of the study is the scheme of development of a fragment of the 110 kV electrical network of PJSC "Rivneoblenergo" with a new substation "Bobryn" and analysis of its steady state. The purpose of the work is to develop a scheme for the development of a fragment of the 110 kV electric network of PJSC "Rivneoblenergo" with a new substation "Bobryn", to select the wires of overhead power lines and analyze the modes of the new electric network, choose its main power equipment. The scheme of development of the electric network fragment with the new Bobryn substation was developed taking into account the geographical location of the Bobryn substation [2], maps-schemes of the 110 kV OHL Rivneoblenrego JSC [3], requirements of current regulations [4,5]. Bobryn Substation will be powered by 110 kV Grabiv Substation tires by a single-circuit Grabiv-Bobryn Substation. In compliance with the current rules and methods [5,6] selected: wires of the new OHL "Grabiv-Bobryn" and "Mlyniv-Bobryn"; main circuit diagram of Bobryn substation and its main power electrical equipment. On the digital model of the scheme of development of a fragment of an electric network from Bobryn substation which is formed in graphic and settlement complex DAKAR [7], normal and post-emergency steady-state modes at the maximum loading of substations "Spark", "Mills" and "Bobryn" and a perspective mode are investigated load. Losses of active power in the electric network from the Bobryn substation with two-way power supply of the electric network from the Grabiv substation and the Mlyniv substation amount to 506 kW with a network load of 37.8 + j17.86 MVA. With such a load on the network, the load lines are as follows: "Grabiv-Iskra" - 33.7%, "Iskra-Mlyniv" - 18.9%, "Mlyniv-Bobryn" - 10.2%, "Grabiv-Bobryn" - 28.4 %. The scheme of development of the electric network from Bobryn substation with two-way power supply of the substation from Grabiv substation and Mlyniv substation is optimal. The loss of active power in it is minimal and is 506 kW. The wires of the existing Grabiv-Iskra and Iskra-Mlyniv substations and the new Grabiv-Bobryn and Mlyniv-Bobryn substations were not overloaded in the post-emergency modes of the network with the Bobryn substation. Therefore, it is not necessary to replace the wires of the existing OHL with wires of larger cross-section, and the wires of the new OHL "Bobryn" were chosen correctly. The developed scheme of electric network development of PJSC “Rivneoblenergo” with the new substation “Bobryn” can be implemented, as the 110 kV OHL “Grabiv-Iskra”, “Iskra-Mlyniv”, “Mlyniv-Bobryn” and “Grabiv-Bobryn” according to the results studies of normal, post-accident steady-state EM modes and long-term load mode have a sufficient capacity margin, and the voltage level on the 10 and 35 kV busbars of Iskra, Mlyniv and Bobryn substations will be provided with on-load tap-changer and PBZ control devices.
