Abstract: ANNOTATION to the master’s thesis of Melnyk Roman “Development of an interactive map of outstanding graduates of the Institute of Geodesy of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic” The purpose of the study is to create a web map of prominent graduates of the Institute of Geodesy of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to consider the theoretical foundations of web mapping and creating web maps of higher education institutions, to consider modern web mapping technologies, to develop methods and methodology for creating web maps of higher education institutions, to create a web map of highlights by ArcGis Online graduates of the Institute of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". The object of the study are outstanding graduates of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and, accordingly, the subject of the study are methodological and technological features of developing an interactive map of prominent scientists of the Institute of Geodesy NU "LP". The research technique is used. Creating an interactive map of outstanding graduates of the Institute of Geodesy of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" with the help of modern web mapping technologies.
