Abstract: Lozynska V.Ya., Skibinska Z. M. (supervisor). "Accounting, analysis and audit of receivables of PJSC" Lviv Locomotive Repair Plant ". Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 20020. Accounts receivable - is the amount of debt receivables to the company at a certain date. If the maturity of receivables that do not arise during the normal operating cycle is less than a year, it refers to the current one. Accounts receivable that arise during the normal operating cycle are recognized as current regardless of the maturity. If the enterprise’s current receivables include receivables with a maturity of less than 12 months and receivables with a maturity of more than 12 months from the balance sheet date, such information should be disclosed in the notes to the financial statements. To classify receivables as long-term or current, it is necessary to take into account the period remaining until the repayment of the debt from the balance sheet date. If there is a certainty that the current receivables will not be repaid or the statute of limitations has expired for such receivables, it is considered bad. Current receivables, for which there is uncertainty in its repayment by the debtor, is a doubtful debt.
