The disease, which appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan, quickly began to attract the attention of the media and the world community. Calling the skepticism of the people on the one hand and warning of measures by doctors, the disease took its toll and became a global epidemic and the number one issue. Mankind has been forced to go online and reduce social ties to reduce the likelihood of the virus spreading. Reducing the number of people on the streets seemed to reduce noise pollution. The transition of educational institutions and a large number of companies to the online mode - reducing the number of CO2 related to the issues of logistics of pupils, students and employees. However, not only the positive dynamics of environmental impacts can be traced to quarantine measures. We remind you that personal daily protective equipment includes: masks and gloves. And here we approach the issue of recycling used masks. The main issues of the study are: "What was the environmental impact of quarantine prevention of Covid-19 (based on statistics)" The object of the study: the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the environment, global changes as a result of the pandemic and the emerging problem of medical waste disposal. Subject of research: analysis of changes in the amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the implementation of the forecast of accumulation and disposal of medical waste based on statistics on Covid-19, search for possible solutions to minimize environmental impact. The purpose of the study: To analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the environment and to propose proposals to reduce them.
