Abstract: In this master’s qualification work the installation for research of the sensor of control of speed of analysis of the engine is created and described. The classification of encoders according to the purpose and principle of operation is carried out. The use of encoders is described and their advantages and disadvantages are noted. The general description of the RUP500 sensor is carried out. The installation for research of the sensor is developed. Methodical instructions for laboratory work are developed. The purpose of laboratory work is to study the principle of operation and purpose of the RUP500 sensor. Get acquainted with its characteristics. Get acquainted with and study the principle of operation of the IO-Link software environment. Carry out research of the RUP500 sensor. The economic analysis was carried out and the economic substantiation of the expenses necessary for carrying out scientific research works was carried out.
