Abstract: Yarovoy R.S, Khmil RE (superviser). Fire safety analysis of a high-rise residential building in Kyiv. Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended annotation The master’s thesis is devoted to the study of planning and design decisions regarding the current regulatory requirements of Ukraine in terms of ensuring their fire safety. This topic is relevant due to the large number of annual material and human losses due to careless handling of fire. Object of research - ensuring fire safety of the construction object at the stage of design or operation of the existing building; The subject of the research is a high-rise residential building, measuring 15.6 ? 64.5 m in plan between the extreme axes, with a maximum number of floors of 16 floors, located in Kyiv; The purpose of the research is to analyze the fire safety of an existing building, to perform test calculations of the main load-bearing structures of the building, including fire resistance. The house has a broken shape in plan. Floors of the building 16, 13 and 11 floors. According to the level of comfort and social orientation, the designed building belongs to the I category. The house has 100 apartments with a total area of 7483 m2. The average area of the apartment is 75 m2. In the basement there is a parking lot for 100 cars. On the ground floor of the building there are administrative and household rooms for house maintenance and a grocery store. Floor height is 4.5 m, residential floor height - 3.3 m, parking - 2.7 m. In the calculation and design section are performed: calculation of the monolithic spatial frame using the software "Monomakh", the calculation of the column and the calculation of a typical monolithic floor slab. Material of reinforced concrete structures: concrete class C32 / 40, reinforcement class A500C and A240C. By calculating the limit of fire resistance of the column, it is established that its bearing capacity at the 30th minute of the fire is not provided. Recommendations for increasing the limit of fire resistance of the structure are given. The section on fire prevention provides an analysis of the master plan, spatial planning solutions and building structures, public buildings and premises, as well as fire extinguishing and parking alarm systems. Due to the introduction of new regulations, some structures and elements of the examination do not meet modern requirements for fire safety. In the section of fire tactics, the calculation of forces and means at a possible fire in a living room on the top floor is carried out. As a result of calculations, the provision of the necessary PPE reserve and the call number in case of fire have been established. In the economic section, the economic efficiency of the two options for fire protection of the building frame column is compared. From the comparison of two versions of the fire protection of the column, it is established that the calculation and fire protection of the column at the design stage is more economical than fire protection by lining with additional materials. In the scientific section the research of change of characteristics of durability and deformability of materials of reinforced concrete designs at high temperature influences is carried out. Based on the results of the performed analysis, the tasks of further work are determined and the results of the available researches in the field of fire safety of building materials and constructions are generalized.
