Abstract: A review of modern construction technologies has shown the significant popularity of wooden frame-panel houses, which have a number of advantages over other systems. One of the disadvantages is the fire resistance of such structures. In existing scientific works, considerable attention is paid to wood fire protection systems, but there is still a need for applied research of fire protection agents on real building structures in the conditions closest to real temperature effects. Another important factor is that the materials studied in the work are presented in retail and are widely used in private construction. The first section analyzes the existing types of wooden frame houses and methods of wood fire protection, their classification, requirements for flame retardants. The section also provides an analysis of the work of other scientists in the field of wood fire protection. The second section presents the method of experimental research, the design and equipment of the fire furnace, the method of preparation and design of samples. The third section presents the results of experimental and theoretical research. Graphs of temperature distribution in the thickness of wooden elements are given. The numerical calculation of the parameters of charring of wood claddings and frame studs is given. The fourth section presents a technical and economic comparison of two options for flame retardant treatment. The most economically optimal types of fire protection are determined. Study object: samples-elements of wall constructions of wooden frame-panel houses exposed to fire. Scope of research: research is the effectiveness of modern fire retardant coatings for wood. Goal of research: analysis of the effectiveness of decorative fire retardants for wooden structures of frame houses of sectional type.
