Abstract: The work consists of 3 sections, each of it contains four and three subsections. The list of literature sources contains 48. The work consists of scientific work and working drawings. The purpose of this work is to investigate the main formation and development of architectural vertical agricultural structures within the city, combination aesthetics of greenery from point of urban farms practicity requirements. The subject of research - functional and spatial characteristics of vertical agricultural buildings. Research frames: chronological - investigations covers the analysis of world modern experience of the XX-XXI centuries; Territorial - world modern agricultural buildings and complexes. Research methods - a set of research methods was used to solve certain tasks and achieve the goal: methods of comparative analysis, methods of causal analysis, methods of system analysis, methods of direct structural analysis, modeling. The paper considers the stages of vertical agricultural structures implementation and the cultivation functionality in Ukraine. Highlighted the best concept ideas of vertical buildings with the foreign countries experience. Implemented foreign countries experience analysis with perspective establishment in Ukraine.
