Abstract: Popik L.V., Sai V.M. (supervisor). Study of cadastral works with land management regarding the allocation of a land plot for forest management (on the example of the state enterprise Volodymyr-Volyn Forestry). Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2022 Extended abstract In modern conditions, increasing anthropogenic load on land and forest resources, development of arable and forest land for buildings, uncontrolled mass cutting of forest areas, the issue of rational and environmentally safe use and protection of forestry land are extremely relevant and timely [1]. At the same time, the growth rate of the world population and the significant demand for land resources for agriculture, the production of wood products and fuel (especially in the less developed countries of the world) have accelerated the rate of deforestation [2]. An obvious effect of such negative phenomena is the destruction of forest vegetation areas as a habitat for a significant number of species of flora and fauna and a decrease in biodiversity [3]. These circumstances influenced the world community’s recognition of the need to solve ecological, economic, organizational and legal problems of using forestry lands. The master’s work analyzed the main normative legal acts of Ukraine regulating the management of land resources for forestry purposes in Ukraine [5]. The European practice of rational use and protection of forestry land is analyzed. In the countries of the European Union, unlike Ukraine, there is a private form of ownership of forestry land use, which has a rather positive effect on the ecological and economic situation in the countries of the European Union [4]. A land management project has been developed regarding the allocation of a plot of land for permanent use by the Volodymyr-Volyn Forestry. It has been established which geodetic works were carried out for the allocation of the land plot for forestry purposes. Field measurements in forest conditions were found to have specific limitations when performing GNSS surveying, but a theoretical study confirmed the possibility of conducting surveys with satisfactory quality. The main problems of forestry land management were analyzed using the example of the Volyn region, and the main inhibiting factors of entering forest fund lands into the state land cadastre were investigated. The purpose and objectives of the research. The purpose of the work is a thorough study of the current state of the forest fund and forestry land for forestry in the Volyn region. Object of research: lands for forestry purpose. The subject of the study is the development of a complex of land management works regarding the allocation of forestry land for permanent use by the Volyn Regional Forestry Department. Research results. Peculiarities of legal regulation of the use of forests and forest resources have been studied. Studies of the forest fund of the Volyn region have been carried out. Studies have shown that there are positive changes in the production and economic activity of state-owned forest enterprises of the Volyn Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting, which is manifested in an increase in the volume of forest products harvested in 2017-2021. According to the results of the study, it was found that the largest share of land under forestry is concentrated in the following countries of the European Union: Finland, Sweden, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Austria. The analysis of data on the distribution of forestry land in the European Union by ownership demonstrates the fact that in the member states of the European Union with a large area of forests, a significant percentage of land is privately owned. A complex of works on the creation of a land management project for the allocation of a land plot for permanent use has been completed. With the help of technical and technological support, land management documentation was formed in accordance with the requirements of the law. The paper examines the main problems and inhibiting factors accompanying the development of land management documentation regarding the formation of forest fund lands. It is shown that the current system of forestry land use is insufficiently effective due to the lack of timely and comprehensive information, which is the basis for managing land resources, including the forest fund. The task can be solved only with a complex combination of land management, state land cadastre, forest inventory materials and forest monitoring results. Key words: forest fund, forestry land, forest resource potential, land plot.
