Abstract: The purpose of the master’s qualification work is to develop a decision support system for the enterprise’s supply chain, which will provide an opportunity to use it for interaction with data at the enterprise. The used integration tools can be applied to transfer any type of data, which will help to better analyze structured data to determine the main business needs. The research objectives are as follows: • analyze, if available, systems with similar functionality and indicate their weaknesses and strengths; • analyze the types of data storage; • conduct a systematic analysis of the problem situation; • choose and justify methods and means for solving the problem; • develop a ready-to-use solution that will satisfy the set goal of the qualification work; • show a control example of how the created software solution works. The object of the study is the process of working out the supply chain data of the enterprise on the basis of data warehouse. Research subject: development of a decision support system for the enterprise’s supply chain. The practical significance of the work is business oriented. Designed to facilitate decision-making by allowing end users to consolidate and analyze information from various sources. The necessity of processing large volumes of data of a structured, weakly structured and unstructured nature, which are in heterogeneous sources, is analyzed. The approaches, models, methods and means of building data warehouses are described, the goal and task of the research are formulated, as well as the concept of building corporate warehouses. A systematic analysis of the subject area was carried out. A logical and physical model of the system was built in the form of UML diagrams. The features of the input and output data that will be processed by the system were considered. An information model of the OLTP system and data storage was also designed, logical entities and their business needs were described. The input data will be the result of the OLTP system, which simulates the operation of an online store. Further, with the help of various means, various volumes of data will be transferred with certain processing to the data warehouse, from the structure of which it will be possible to obtain raw data for further analysis. Different means for implementing the system are studied, their advantages and disadvantages are described. SQL Server was chosen as a data processing engine and Database Engine/SSIS packages as tools for forming the integration layer and forming ETL processes. The necessary software and technical support has been created. The software implementation was also considered, in the framework of which a study of the speed of data transfer using the two above-selected means was carried out and some functionality of the system was considered in order for the user to interact with it correctly. A three-layer system has been created, which consists of an OLTP system as a transactional layer, ETL processes using Database Engine and SSIS packages as an integration layer, and a data warehouse built on a hybrid principle as an analytical layer. The implemented system is an analogue of the latest self-service system, as it can provide its business needs without third-party means. The difference between a relational database and a data warehouse, existing approaches to building data warehouses, their advantages and disadvantages are considered. The subject area was analyzed and the concept of building a data warehouse and OLTP system was described. Also, all the tasks that were described in the statement were completed, that is, the self-service information system was impleme When designing the system, an information model of the relational database and data storage was created, the logical entities presented in the system were described, and the business needs of each object were formed. The structure of input and output data is described and options for their further use are proposed. For the correct operation of the program, the requirements for software and technical support were formed and described, and a management note for the user was formed with a detailed description of the main functionality of the system. The developed system can be used as an analogue for interaction with data at the enterprise, the used integration tools can be applied to transfer any type of data and this will help better analyze structured data to determine the main business needs of the system.
