In the master’s thesis, a software system for a weather station was developed. The developed program is relevant and corresponds to the existing market conditions. The main capabilities include the ability to display and analyze weather data. The program includes a convenient graphical user interface. Automation is one of the branches of scientific and technical progress, which is aimed at the use of self-regulating technical means, economic-mathematical methods and management systems, which free a person from participation in the processes of obtaining, transforming, transferring and using energy, this participation or the complexity of the performed operations. Together with the term automatic, the concept of automated is used, which emphasizes a relatively high degree of human participation in the process. Now, at the beginning of the twenty-first century, basic automation is used in almost all types of manufacturing and assembly processes. These include: power generation, oil refining, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, plastics manufacturing, cement plants, fertilizer mills, pulp and paper mills, automobile mills, aircraft manufacturing, glass manufacturing, etc. Meteorological data in most cases are obtained in digital format, but there are still measurements that are obtained in an analog way and it is necessary to digitize these data for further analysis. The Goland integrated development environment, the Golang programming language, and JavaScript were used for product development. In the main part of the master’s qualification work, the step-by-step development of software is considered. The analysis of existing solutions, the choice of methods and means for implementation, and the implementation itself is carried out. The work, in addition to the main part, contains an economic section, in which an economic assessment of the project solution was carried out and the economic effect of its use was determined.
