Abstract: Cloud backup and cloud storage are often used interchangeably, after which copies of files and folders are stored. However, these are two different technologies. Cloud backup protects data from loss or damage, while cloud storage allows you to save your files and folders on remote servers, share them with colleagues for collaboration, or maintain access to information from anywhere over the Internet. Cloud storage can be described as an external hard drive. However, unlike the typical scenario where the hard drive is on-premise, cloud storage sends data to off-site servers. This will help free up space on local devices. The developed cloud storage backup project includes Amazon Cloud Drive, Apple iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc. Another advantage of cloud storage is easy access to information regardless of place or time. With on-premise storage solutions, you need to add an entirely new device to increase storage capacity. Cloud storage doesn’t require buying a new device or going through complicated setup processes. You can smoothly upgrade your prepaid plan at any time to increase the amount of storage according to your business requirements. One of the main disadvantages of cloud storage is the manual selection of files and folders to save [1]. The benefits of project management software for better project management are identified. This, in turn, led to even deeper changes in people’s lives, business organization and human management. This chapter examines the challenges of transferring data and related policy permissions from the cloud to distributed file systems. The concept of information systems and their components and the purpose of the project are defined. Analogue products and their characteristics are described, the shortcomings that are destroyed in the design of the information system for the implementation of blockchain cloud data protection are identified. The problem of developing an effective information system for the implementation of cloud data protection based on blockchain is highlighted. A system analysis of the subject area was developed using UML to build a logical model of the system. Options for solving the problem of project implementation have been worked out [2]. The main requirements of the development process and expected benefits from the implementation of the system are described. A conceptual model of the system was developed and the purpose of the system development and purpose was determined - to develop a system design to provide the highest level of security for modern cloud workloads. The functional role and responsibility for the implementation of the project is described. The scope of the project has been defined and the plans and schedule of work have been designed. The intermediate stages of the project implementation, the plan for managing changes to the scope of the object, the project communications plan, the quality management plan, the risk management plan, and the resource management plan are described. Project implementation results and documents for successful implementation have been received. It is described how the system will function and with the help of which methods and means the information system of cloud data implementation will be implemented. The implementation of the project was monitored and the implementation of the project task was described. So, at the end of the information system project for the implementation of block-based cloud data protection, all functions have been implemented. The project was closed after the successful outcome of the created project and the developed finished system. The project completion procedure and analysis of compliance with project requirements have been implemented. Study object - the process of cloud data protection based on blockchain. Scope ofresearch - the methods and means of cloud data protection based on blockchain. Goal of research: creation of an information system in the form of a website, which will provide the user with opportunities to protect cloud data. Briefly put research results. The result of the development is a developed information system implemented as a blockchain-based cloud data protection implementation system.
