Abstract: Shevchuk O. A., Hayvanovych N. V. (supervisor). Supply chain resilience and flexibility research and optimization of transport and logistics activities of «VIS Auto Group» LLC. Master`s thesis. – Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2023. Extended abstract Current trends in logistics and supply chains are focused on sustainability and flexibility. Businesses recognise the need to minimise their environmental impact, implement sustainable practices and meet changing customer demands. In addition, the ability to quickly adapt to disruptions and market changes is critical to success. By implementing innovative technologies and strategies, companies can create more resilient and flexible supply chains, ensuring long-term sustainability and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving business environment [1,2]. The object of research for the master’s thesis is the process of organising transport and logistics activities of "VIS Auto Group" LLC. The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological foundations of sustainability and flexibility of supply chains, as well as practical issues of modernisation of transport and logistics activities of "VIS Auto Group" LLC. The purpose of the master’s thesis is to theoretically summarise and apply the indicators of sustainability and flexibility of supply chains and to develop practical recommendations for improving the processes of transport and logistics activities of the enterprise. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the further development and adaptation of logistics tools, taking into account approaches to sustainability and flexibility in supply chains, to improve the efficiency of transport and logistics activities of an enterprise operating in highly competitive markets under conditions of uncertainty. The mechanisms of innovation activity of the transport company were further developed through optimisation and modernisation of the customer service process based on using innovative transportation monitoring systems, as well as digital twins technology for modelling logistics processes, demand forecasting, route analysis and optimisation, inventory management, etc., which will help to increase productivity and reduce costs. The following research methods were used to solve the tasks: generalisation, systematisation, comparison; statistical, comparative and economic analysis; cluster analysis; online surveys (Google Forms); simulation modelling; systematic approach method; expert evaluation method; graphical method. Results of the research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in recent years, logistics and supply chain management sectors have undergone significant changes and transformations driven by the need for sustainability and flexibility. These two factors are becoming increasingly important due to growing awareness of environmental issues, changing consumer demands and disruptions caused by events such as natural disasters, pandemics and wars. As a result, companies are reconsidering their approaches to logistics and supply chains, implementing new strategies and technologies to make their operations more sustainable and flexible [3, 4]. Depending on the type of business, logistics companies may change their priorities, but the main trend today is the introduction of automation systems and innovative technological solutions in the warehousing and transport sectors. Digitalisation helps to reduce the company’s overall costs in order`s processing, organise the efficient storage of information, and reduce the risk of problems and inaccuracies. However, this process is quite complex and leads to general changes in the operation of enterprises [5, 6, 7]. The master’s thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters and conclusions. The first theoretical and methodological chapter discusses current trends in logistics and supply chains, conducts a general study of trends in logistics support for transportation, and analyses the evaluation mechanism for improving the efficiency of the logistics activities of a transport enterprise. The second analytical section provides a general description of the activities of "VIS Auto Group", analyses its financial, economic and logistics activities. The third research section conducts a study of the development of Ukraine’s transport infrastructure in the context of European integration based on secondary sources of information and a primary study of the level of logistics services provided to customers of the company. In the fourth design and recommendation section of this paper, the company’s warehousing system is designed and optimised using simulation modelling methods, and recommendations are made on ways to improve the logistics services provided to the company’s customers using innovative transport monitoring systems. Key words: supply chain management, supply chain resilience, transport and logistics activities, logistics support of transportation, European integration, logistics services, transport infrastructure.
