The application of anti-crisis management methods at “Sewing and trade enterprise “MAYAK” LLC

Abstract: The study object is the anti-crisis management of Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC. The scope of research is the implementation of anti-crisis measures on the example of a manufacturing enterprise. The goal of the research is to conduct an analysis of the financial condition of Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC for the period 2019-2021 and outline the main problematic aspects of financial reporting in order to develop recommended anti-crisis measures that should be applied to Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC and calculation of the financial effect of the implementation of these measures. The master’s thesis consists of three sections. The first part presented the main theoretical approaches to the analysis of anti-crisis management methods. In the second paragraph of this section, a horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statement of Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC for 2019-2021 was carried out and the direction of movement of the main financial reporting indicators was determined. An analysis of indicators of financial stability and liquidity was also carried out. Based on the results of the analysis, it was determined that this enterprise is sufficiently provided with its own funds, therefore it is financially stable. As for liquidity indicators, in 2021, their dynamics began to deteriorate somewhat. In the third paragraph of the first section, an analysis of the main problematic aspects of the financial condition of Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC was carried out, as well as an assessment of the probability of bankruptcy. Thus, it was determined that according to two of the three models, the probability of bankruptcy is very high. So, the result of this section was the confirmation of the decision to carry out anti-crisis measures at this enterprise in order to improve its financial condition in general, and increase profitability and profitability, as well as reduce the risk of bankruptcy. In the second part of the work, a SWOT analysis was carried out to assess the external and internal environment of Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC. Based on the establishment of connections between opportunities and threats, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise, it was determined that the main areas of strategic alternatives are production and supply, buyers (sales) and finance. Using an economic-mathematical model to optimize the company’s costs in order to maximize the net income from the sale of products, it was possible to determine that if the company’s cost structure is optimized, its net income from sales will increase by 25.26% compared to the value of this indicator as of the end of 2021 . According to the results of forecasting the net income from the sale of products for the 4 quarters of 2022 by the method of least squares. Thus, the projected annual value of this indicator will decrease by 19.93% compared to the same indicator for 2021. In the third section of the research, on the basis of the previously conducted analysis, two recommendations were formed, which should be implemented at Sewing and trade enterprise "MAYAK" LLC in order to improve its financial condition. The first anti-crisis measure provided for the expansion of the product sales market of this enterprise, as well as improvement of the quality and range of products. As a result of the implementation of these measures, the planned values of financial indicators were calculated and compared with the values as of the end of 2021. The second anti-crisis measure for the enterprise was to review its production processes in order to optimize costs. At this stage, it was recommended to conduct an analysis of the current state of the production process in order to identify possible losses and steps that do not bring value. The result of the implementation of this measure should be the construction of a new, more efficient production process, which will make it possible to optimize costs and increase profitability. Thus, based on the results of the implementation of two recommended decisions, it was possible to determine the consolidated effect on financial indicators. As a result of the implementation of these measures, the majority of financial indicators will be within regulatory limits and have positive dynamics, namely indicators of profitability, business activity, financial stability and liquidity.
