Abstract: Pidvornyy M.M., Podvalna H.V. (Transport and expeditionary activity optimization in wartime conditions (on the example of PE Hudyma R.B. Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2022. Extended abstract. The modern dynamic world requires a quick and error-free solution to the issues of transportation of raw materials, cargo and finished products. In the conditions of growing competition, it is transport forwarding services that can play a key role in obtaining competitive advantages. Freight forwarding is a complex, multi-level process that allows you to transfer all tasks related to the delivery of goods to the shoulders of a professional forwarding company, thereby more effectively using the resources of the sender of the goods. One of the main factors in the successful functioning of enterprises, trade organizations and the service sector in the modern economy is the reduction of costs associated with the delivery of goods. This circumstance determined the need to separate the activities of transport forwarding organizations as an integral part of the transport and logistics system. The main task of the operation of transport forwarding organizations is the search for the most optimal option for the potential customer for the delivery of cargo by one or more modes of transport based on the transport forwarding contract, ensuring the preservation of the cargo, as well as providing a set of additional transport forwarding services. Theoretical and applied issues of management and optimization of transportexpedition activities of the enterprise are reflected in the works of many domestic scientists, in particular: N. Akymenko [1], K. Ryabova [1], E. Krykavskyi [2, 3], O. Pokhilchenko [2], N. Chornopyska [3, 5] , B. Kholod [4], O. Zborovska [4], N. Chukhrai [6], O. Girnoi [6] and others. in which the study of the issue of increasing the efficiency of the transport forwarding enterprise, etc., is considered. Study object - PE Hudyma R.B. Scope of research - optimization of transport and forwarding activities in wartime conditions. Goal of research - theoretical justification and development of methodical and practical principles optimization of transport and forwarding activities. Briefly put research results. PE Hudyma R.B. is a transport and forwarding company that provides services for the transportation of various cargoes. The essence and peculiarities of the organization of the transport and forwarding activities of the enterprise were considered, and the indicators of the efficiency of the transport and forwarding activities of the enterprise were analyzed. The risks in the transport and forwarding activities of the enterprise are characterized. The general characteristics of the transport and forwarding activities of the experimental enterprise are considered. The evaluation of the technical, operational and financial indicators of the PE Hudyma R.B. was carried out, and the threats in the transport and forwarding activities of the PE Hudyma R.B. were analyzed. Ways to improve the transport and expedition activities of the PE Hudyma R.B. have been developed, and an economic rationale for the feasibility of implementing the proposed measures has been provided. In the process of calculation, the purchase of cars was justified, which will allow to abandon the involvement of contractors in the most important links of transportation, or will be able to increase the potential of the company and stimulate the attraction of new customers. Also, the proposed method makes it possible to determine rational periods of goods transportation for each flight, which will make it possible to achieve, on the one hand, significant time savings, and on the other hand, to use the available rolling stock as rationally as possible. The application of differentiated norms makes it possible to significantly speed up the process of cargo transportation and make it cheaper both for the carrier (due to more complete use of rolling stock, reduction of the working fleet) and for customers (reduction of cargo "weight on wheels", acceleration of turnover of rolling stock and cargo, inventory reduction). The introduction of martial law on the territory of Ukraine was the result of a large number of changes, including those of a legal nature. There was a rapid predominance of public interest over private interest, the need to live by "new rules" with various restrictions, in particular, the interests of private individuals. As for transportation, significant changes have taken place in absolutely all of its types, new "rules" or restrictions have been introduced, some types of transportation (such as air transportation) have ceased to be used altogether. All of the above indicates the relevance and timeliness of the analysis of issues related to transportation as such, and transportation contracts in wartime conditions, the realities of their conclusion and implementation.
