Abstract: The topic of research is: the study of the effect of modifying additives on increasing the strength of Portland cement. The object of research are modifying additives - calcium hydrosilicates. The purpose of research: increasing the strength of cement stone due to the introduction of calcium hydrosilicates. Concrete is one of the most common materials nowadays. Building structures based on it are easy to manufacture, durable and economically competitive, since the cost of raw materials for the production of concrete is much lower than in other construction materials. The introduction of calcium hydrosilicate into the composition of cement stone significantly increases the operational characteristics of concrete, while reducing the required amount of cement to obtain some operational characteristics. Scientific work takes place in the production of calcium hydrosilicate in laboratory conditions and its introduction into the composition of the mixture. Strength testing of cement stone with the addition of wet and dry calcium hydrosilicate compared to cement stone without additives. Analysis of the received data and formulation of a conclusion based on them. Key words: Strength, cement stone, modifying additives, calcium hydrosilicates
