Abstract: The master’s qualification work consists of a calculation and explanatory note with the volume of 5 sections, placed on 85 pages and a graphic part on four slides and two drawings. An overview of sources of information on accumulated liquid waste was performed of potash productions in Prykarpattia and selected promising directions for the processing of multi-tonnage waste - the solution of the Kaluska tailings depository. The results of studies of gradual evaporation of the specified solution under atmospheric pressure and under vacuum, extraction of chlorides from a mixture of salts with a water-ethanol solvent are given. Based on them, a technological process of processing the tailings solution into KMg fertilizer and sodium chloride was developed. In the technological part, the technological scheme of the process and modes of individual stages are described, material and thermal calculations are performed, the main apparatus and auxiliary equipment are calculated. Measures for occupational health and safety at work have been developed.
