Abstract: Master’s degree diploma qualification thesis on the topic: "Nitric acid production project with a productivity of 15t/h". The thesis consists of the following points: an introduction, five chapters, a conclusion, a list of used sources of 24 points. The full volume of the work is 74 pages, on which 7 tables and 44 figures are presented. The method of this work is the simulation of the simulation of the operation of the "pipe in a pipe" heat exchanger. The main goal is to study its effectiveness. In the first chapter of the master’s work, the main regularities of heat exchange processes, the classification of heat exchangers are described. The second section contains a description of HNO3, the scope of application. The third section includes the calculation of the heat exchanger, the determination of the main dimensions. The fifth chapter contains a description of the modeling process in the Ansys Fluent program, an image of the modeling process itself and its results. The sixth chapter shows all economic calculations of monetary costs for conducting scientific research. At the end of the work, conclusions are made for each of the stages of work execution and a list of used literary sources.
