Abstract: Chaban S.P., Knіaz S.V. (head of work). Economic justification of the creation of an effective business based on the innovative technology of metallization of the surfaces of building materials. Master’s qualification thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University. - 2022 Extended abstract. According to experts from different countries, metal losses due to corrosion (taking into account the mass of metal structures, products, and equipment that failed) amount to 10 to 20% of annual steel production. The technology of protecting steel surfaces by applying modern paint coatings of various compositions makes it possible to guarantee the operation of metal structures until the first repair for 10 years (ISO 14713-1). An indisputable alternative to paint and varnish materials is the application of coatings made of metals with a higher electrode potential compared to steel (zinc, aluminum, their alloys) on steel structures. The high reliability of such coatings is explained by their double functionality: in addition to insulating properties, the metallization coating works as a protector, performing the function of a "sacrificial" anode. The purpose of the qualification work is the economic justification of the business project on the application of metallization of building materials. The task of the research: revealing the essence of the innovative technology of metallization of the surfaces of building materials; assessment of the legislative and regulatory framework; disclosure of the Space Ceramic mission; specifying the general characteristics of the Space Ceramic enterprise; disclosure of Space Ceramic’s environmental policy; analysis of performance indicators of Space Ceramic, etc. The object of the research is a business project on the application of metallization of building materials. The subject of the study is the economic justification of the business project on the application of metallization of building materials. The scientific novelty and practical significance of the obtained research results lies in the development of theoretical and practical recommendations for the improvement of the model of the economic justification of the business project for the application of metallization of building materials. Research methods. To achieve the goal, the following research methods were used in the qualification work: analysis, comparison and generalization; economic-statistical and financial analysis. Research information base. In the process of writing the paper, an analysis of metallization methods was carried out. The writing of the master’s thesis was based on the empirical data of the Space Ceramic enterprise. Keywords: methods of metallization, construction materials, economic efficiency of the project, risks. List of used sources: 1. Carlsson R. M.
