Abstract: Kurdibah O. A. The design of the catwalk as part of the subject - spatial content of the presentation spaces of fashion collections. The first section considers the stages of formation of the presentation space of the fashion show. Of which the main points of the emergence and development of fashion shows: 1) the historical aspect is to show how the functions of fashion shows have changed over time from the way of selling clothes to the selected customer base (its economic function) and the means of creating image, images and attracting a wide audience (its cultural function). 2) fashion show was also considered as an art form, and at the same time as a means of mass communication. An analysis of the staff of the fashion show was presented. Analyzing world examples, we can say that thanks to fashion shows it is possible to solve certain problems, raise funds for charity, cover certain problems. Demonstration of new technologies and materials. The mechanisms of functioning of the fashion industry and fashion show at the Fashion Week are considered - it is an effective way to present short-term and modern fashion trends, to create a unique show. In this context, it is a demonstration of clothing models of haute couture and ready-to-wear classes, in order to acquaint all actors in the fashion industry with the directions of formation and development of mass-produced fashion clothing. It is determined that most often the primacy in fashion was associated with political superiority, so today we have 5 fashion capitals: Paris, Milan, London, New York, Tokyo. The influence of shows on the natural, urban and architectural environment is revealed. Analyzing world examples, we can say that thanks to fashion shows it is possible to solve certain problems, raise funds for charity, cover certain problems. Demonstration of new technologies and materials. All factors influencing the presentation environment are highlighted. And the classification of components of fashion shows is formed. In the second section, we identified current trends in the organization of exhibition spaces of fashion shows, which include: the dominance of one color, overhead lighting, the use of open space in the existing environment, artificially created environment indoors, floor covering and spectator space are the same, change temporary function of the existing object, application of new technologies and materials, disclosure of a theme and a kind of display are strengthened by scenery. It is revealed that the factors influencing the dislocations of the presentation space of fashion shows are divided into: constant and variable factors. Permanent factors include: ergonomic and psychophysiological aspects. In turn, the variable factors of influence include: weather conditions, time of day chosen for the show, materials used during the show and technical capabilities, musical accompaniment, the theme of the show, the type of collection. It is revealed that the components of the subject-spatial content of the presentation space of the fashion show are: lighting, podium, backdrop, "portal" of the entrance, man, musical accompaniment, scenery. The fashion show in turn is a combination of: dislocations, themes, technical and technological designs of the podium. Modern trends in fashion shows can be aimed at "breaking stereotypes", ie to build a space that contradicts the requirements to achieve a greater emotional and aesthetic effect. Ensuring the visibility of the object of observation, its color and texture component and the atmosphere as a whole provide the viewer with an incredible impression of the show. Materials that ensure the implementation of composite elements are: natural, artificial, technological (digital). The third section develops a classification of functional areas, namely: backstage, exit area of models, podium, seats for spectators and the press. Seats for spectators can be of several types: a theater in the theater in the form of a semicircle, "coliseum" (in the form of a circle or oval), in one row or in several, standing and sitting places. Conventionally, the backstage can be divided into 4 zones: make-up area, make-up area, wardrobe area (storage of personal belongings), area where models wear a new collection. Requirements for their arrangement are compliance with ergonomic requirements, sufficient space and technical capabilities of the place. First, the podiums are prefabricated and existing. And then the waters are divided into species according to the place of dislocation: open space - prefabricated podium; - existing podium;, closed space (change of space function) - prefabricated podium; - existing podium. When we choose the location of an existing enclosed space, we change the function of the space for a certain time. Instead, we create an event by making a passage between audience seats or in other ways using space features to create a space that is noticeably set aside for the catwalk. Podiums are formed due to many factors: the choice of location, the theme of the show, the economic part, the area for the show. The principles and methods of design of the subject-presentation content of the fashion show are revealed. The principles of podium design include: the principle of theatricality, modularity, adaptation, combination, transformation. Techniques for forming podiums: the method of forming a form due to another form, techniques of "universality", virtual techniques, conceptual techniques (screenplay), techniques based on the use of elements of wildlife, techniques based on the use of elements of the existing environment (nature and interior). Techniques of digital technologies have been widely used for the last 15 years. Such a combination can lead to a different idea, and the addition of a different technique can give a new quality to this combination. This is a sign of the flexibility of the structure, the unpredictability of its development. In the fourth section, the features and methods of forming a universal podium were identified. The first factor is: wear-resistant, heat-resistant, durable and hard materials. The second - the principles of modularity, transformation, combination. In turn, the principle of transformation uses a "puzzle" system and a system of modular frame construction. Also a backdrop that has restorative properties. An algorithm for the design of subject-spatial filling of presentation spaces was formulated. 1) determine the theme and type of collection, 2) choose the location, 3) develop planning for functional areas, 4) mount the construction of the presentation space, 5) design theatricality and special effects, 6) adjust the light and music. In the process of this particular transformation, the fashion show itself is transformed from an economic evaluation of clothing with the intention of acquiring it into an indirect aesthetic, social and cultural experience. Thus, fashion design is no longer just a design and creation of clothes, but the world itself, which includes fashion, design, creativity, technology and business.
