Lviv Politechnic National University, Lviv, 2020 Exstended abstract The need to develop a methodology for managing competitiveness based on the achievements of world economics and the realities of management at the macro- and microeconomic levels has led to the relevance of this master’s thesis. The theoretical aspects of competitiveness are investigated in the work, the competitiveness of the motor transport enterprise is analyzed, the recommendations on effective management of the competitiveness of the enterprise in market conditions are developed and substantiated. Object of research: competitiveness of PJSC TEK "Zakhidukrtrans". Subject of research: - a set of theoretical foundations and practical recommendations for the formation of an effective system for managing the competitiveness of the enterprise. The purpose of research: research of theoretical aspects of competitiveness, analysis of competitiveness of the motor transport enterprise, development and substantiation of recommendations on effective management of competitiveness of the enterprise in market conditions. Research methods - graphical, matrix, observation, comparison, expert method, method of SWOT-, PESTLE- and SPACE-analysis. The obtained results and their novelty. The scientific novelty of the results of the study is to deepen the theoretical foundations and develop guidelines for improving the management of the competitiveness of the enterprise, namely: - the system of management of competitiveness of motor transport enterprises on the basis of the system-process approach through isolation of external and internal factors and the strategies influencing competitive potential of the enterprise which allows to consider and react to changes in internal environment of the enterprise and by that provides high level of its adaptability to dynamic market conditions of trucking companies; - the strategy of management of competitiveness of the transport enterprise which includes possible directions of struggle against competitors by introduction of the corresponding changes in internal environment and is based on a real position which the enterprise occupies in the market and on what strategy is inherent in the enterprise in market realities is offered. to achieve a new quality state, becoming one of the leaders of domestic and foreign freight markets. The significance of the work and conclusions is that the formation of a comprehensive system of competitiveness management ensures the successful operation, financial stability and development of the enterprise in a competitive environment of motor services, providing competitive services, increasing revenues and financial results, improving business efficiency and management decisions. . Recommendations for the use of results - theoretical provisions and methodological and practical recommendations for managing the competitiveness of the enterprise should be used in assessing the competitiveness and determining the competitive strategy of the enterprise. Field of application and degree of introduction of diploma work materials - diploma work materials can be used at domestic motor transport enterprises. In the master’s qualification work the theoretical aspects of competitiveness are investigated, the competitiveness of the motor transport enterprise is analyzed, the recommendations on effective management of competitiveness of the enterprise in market conditions are developed and substantiated. Management of enterprise competitiveness in modern market conditions is one of the main directions of enterprise operation. In terms of content, strategic management of enterprise competitiveness is pragmatic, the main advantages in this process are the actual results and potential prospects that the company must achieve to ensure further development.
