Abstract: In the masters qualification work are presented the results of the analysis of statistical data on traffic accidents in Ukraine and Italy. The research identifies and constructs dependencies that describe the relationship between the number of traffic accidents and different traffic criteria (speed, distance, time of day, etc.). Data on the number of traffic accidents in Ukraine during 2015-2019 are analyzed. The results of the study can be used to understand the causes of traffic accidents and to increase traffic safety.
