Abstract: Urban public transport plays a leading role in the municipal economy. There is no doubt in saying that its high-quality and stable work supports the functioning of the city and such systems as the mobility of the working population, economic development and the formation of socio-political stability. Analytical and research works that performed the service of the city public transport system, as well as the functional station of passengers were investigated in the work. It has been formulated the quality indicators, which are preferred by passengers, namely: duration of the trip, safety, regularity of traffic, guaranteed operating time of buses on the route, comfort, well-established information system, reasonable cost of transportation, etc.
