Abstract: An analysis of the scientific literature shows that the distribution of instantaneous speeds of traffic flows falls under the normal law, and the distribution of time intervals between vehicles – exponential. The main methods of traffic research are described and the choice of intersections is made Lviv (two regulated intersections with Heroiv UPA Street) where data were collected for the analysis of the required parameters. For these intersections the main technical and technological parameters, the composition of the traffic flow and its distribution by directions are given. Studies have been conducted at these regulated intersections, the results of which show that the speeds of vehicles are distributed according to the uniform law, and the intervals between vehicles - according to the uniform and lognormal laws.
