Abstract: The object of the study – the coordinates’ regulating processes of the electrical mode of the electric arc furnace. The subject of the study – quality indicators of the regulation dynamics of lengths, voltages, currents and power of arcs when using a fuzzy control model. The goal of the work – designing an improved model of control signal generation for electrode movement based on a fuzzy control. In the master’s qualification work developed a mathematical and structural computer Simulink - model, to perform comparative computer studies of quality indicators of arc-length control of the existing and proposed fuzzy arc length control system and to draw conclusions based on the obtained research results. It was designed the mathematical model of the fuzzy law of arc length regulation, the structure of the system of automatic arc length regulation of the arc furnace on the basis of the fuzzy model of electric mode mismatch signal, structural Simulink-model of the ACS with the fuzzy model of control and achieved the results of comparative analysis of indicators of quality of regulation for the EM coordinates using existing a differential law and the proposed fuzzy control and based on the results of computer studies of expediency use of the proposed fuzzy control of the ACS for the EM in the EAFs.
