Abstract: Master’s Qualification Work contains: 88 articles, 13 sources used, 42 figures, 12 tables. The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is: "Study of the performance of the arc steelmaking furnace DSP-3 using the converter" constant current - constant voltage ". The following sections are described in the Master’s Qualification Work: - Requirements for the power supply circuit of particleboard and basic equipment of furnaces. - Calculation and analysis of energy characteristics of the DSP-3 furnace. - Reactive power compensation. - Calculation of the influence of current oscillations on the performance of particleboard. - Calculation of the influence of DSP-3 on the voltage fluctuations of the network. - Converter circuit "constant current - constant voltage", its principle of operation and main characteristics. - Development of a mathematical model of PSSSN and study of normal modes of operation of the furnace. - Calculation and comparison of energy characteristics of chipboard for different power schemes.
