Characteristics of the educational program: The objects of study of educational and scientific program are research, design and engineering, design and technological, organizational and technological, pedagogical activities in the field of creation of architectural objects, operation, repair and reconstruction of buildings, structures, engineering systems and networks in the system of functioning of branch institutions, enterprises and organizations. The specializations: industrial and civil construction; urban construction and economy; building constructions, products and materials technologies; highways and airfields; bridges and transportation tunnels; heat and gas supply and ventilation; water supply and sewerage.
Програмні результати навчання: - design buildings and structures (according to specialization), including the use of computer-aided software systems, in order to ensure their reliability and durability, rational design and technical decisions, feasibility studies, taking into account the characteristics of the construction object, definition optimal mode of its operation and implementation of resource and energy saving measures; - apply specialized conceptual knowledge, including modern scientific achievements, as well as a critical understanding of modern problems in the field of construction and civil engineering to solve complex problems of professional activity; - carry out technical examination of construction and civil engineering projects (according to specialization), monitoring compliance of projects and technical documentation, design tasks, specifications and other applicable regulations in the field of architecture and construction; - perform operation, maintenance and quality control of construction and civil engineering facilities; - communicate fluently in state and foreign languages, to discuss professional issues and results in the field of architecture and construction orally and in writing; - apply modern mathematical methods for the analysis of statistical data, calculation and optimization of design parameters and technological processes of construction of buildings and structures; - develop measures for labor and environmental protection in research and production activities; - track the latest achievements in the chosen specialization, use them to create innovations; - select modern materials, technologies and methods of construction process, taking into account the architectural and planning, structural part of the project and the base of the construction organization; - collect the necessary information using scientific and technical literature, databases and other sources, analyze and evaluate it; - adhere to the standards of good academic practice, know the basic legal norms for the protection of intellectual property, commercialization of the results of research, inventive and design activities; - ability to solve problems of construction and civil engineering in new or unfamiliar environments with incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility; - develop and teach specialized disciplines in higher education institutions; - plan and perform scientific and applied research in the field of construction and civil engineering, to choose effective research methods, to argue conclusions, to present research results; - be able to identify the scientific nature of problems in the professional field, to find ways to solve them; - specialized problem-solving skills required for research and / or innovation to develop new knowledge and procedures; - ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts; - ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility; - communicating the information, ideas, problems, decisions, own experience and substantiation both to specialists and to laymen; - collection, interpretation and application of data; - oral and written communication on professional issues, including in foreign language; - understandable and unambiguous bringing of own knowledge, conclusions and substantiations both to specialists and to laymen, in particular to persons who are studying; - management of work or studding processes that are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches; - responsibility for contributing to professional knowledge and practice and / or evaluating the performance of teams; - ability to continue studies with a high degree of autonomy.
