Characteristics of the educational program: Educational component is based on scientific research of transport technologies, forecasting of the development of transport systems, peculiarities of traffic flows management and traffic safety and directs the applicant to the solving of actual scientific and scientific-applied tasks and problems in the field of transport

1. Apply acquired knowledge and understanding for the identification, formulation and solving the tasks of the development of transport complex, using modern scientific methods; 2. Apply the knowledge for solving the tasks of analysis and synthesis in transport systems; 3. Comprehend and apply on a system level the creativity to the formation of fundamentally new ideas in the field of transport; 4. Apply the knowledge of technical characteristics, technological peculiarities of formation and sales of transport products; 5. Calculate, design, investigate the road network, traffic management and control, transport processes of freight and passenger transportation, loading activity, to carry out marketing analysis; 6. Search for information in different scientific-applied sources for solving the tasks in the field of transport; 7. Work effectively both individually and in creative group; 8. Identify, classify and describe production activities in the field of transport; 9. Combine the theory and practice, and also make decisions and develop the activity strategy for solving scientific-applied tasks in the field of transport taking into account human values, social, state and production interests; 10. Carry out the topical scientific research and apply the research skills in the field of transport; 11. Critically evaluate the received research results and reasonably accept and defend the appropriate decisions; 12. Use in scientific-pedagogical practice the knowledge from transport technologies, use the methodological tools of cognition, analyze the received research results within existing theories, make reasonable conclusions.
Concerning synthesis: – define and formulate problems concerning the field of transport technologies; – find the solutions to scientific and scientific-applied tasks and problems in the field of transport; – develop the methods of transport research and forecasting; – create models of transport systems and technologies functioning. Concerning knowledge evaluation: – evaluate existing and develop progressive research methods in transport systems; – simulate transport processes and systems and movement environment; – formulate scientific hypothesis, find optimal (rational) scientific and scientific-applied solutions among alternatives of transport systems technologies.
