Characteristics of the educational program: Gaining profound theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the fields of project and program management in material (non-material) production which will let the students effectively fulfill innovative tasks on the corresponding levels of professional activity focused on the research into and the solution of complex problems concerning information systems development and engineering in order to meet the needs of science, business and enterprises in various branches.
Gained competence: - planning and implementation of project activities; - methodology and methods of making design decisions; - methodology for systematic structural and object-oriented analysis of complex objects and systems; - design methods and technology, databases and data warehouses usage; - information and computer systems as well as analytical and management technologies development and application methodology, focused on decision forming and decision-making, tools for such systems development and support; - software tools and technologies for the IT projects management; - methodology of conducting research management and projects and programs development in accordance with the approved methodical program and established deadlines; - methods of IT-projects implementation by means of CASE-technologies, stages and the final IT-project work outcomes evaluation and IT-project parameters adjusting; - legal documents and methodology of project documentation formation for IT projects; - methodology and methods of risk management of IT projects; - requirements management in IT projects; - engineering design of software systems.
