Characteristics of the educational program: General program: "Computer Systems and Networks" The purpose of the educational program: provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills, sufficient to perform successfully professional duties in specialty 123 "Computer engineering" in specialization "Computer Systems and Networks" and to prepare students for further study in the chosen specialization. Educational-professional program is based on the known positions and results of a modern researches in information technologies, computer and programming engineering, micro- and nano-electronics, and is oriented on actual specialty, in scope of which is possible further professional and academic career: computer systems and components, mathematical modeling and computation methods. Educational-professional program has one practical line – computer systems and networks. Graduates of "Computer Systems and Networks" specialty can work in the public and private sectors in various fields, including: design, implementation and support of complex computer systems and networks based on modern microprocessors, personal computers, local and global networks, Internet network, databases; design of software on languages of high level; design, support and exploitation of system and task-oriented programming tools, computer systems and networks databases; design, implementation and support specialized computer tools, design and producing of embedded computer systems of household equipment, instrumentation, computer communication devices, systems of image and signal processing, high-performance computer systems.
