Gained competence: - the knowledge and understanding of the main categories, concepts and scientific principles which are the basis of world economic development, which will enable to critically analyze the development of international economic relations and to determine the main trends in the development of international trade; - the knowledge of the basic models and strategies of development of national economies, approaches, methods and tools of macroeconomic analysis, their advantages, disadvantages and current trends; - the knowledge of the programs, which can be used for data analysis; - the knowledge of approaches to hypotheses formation, their testing methods in the study of business processes and their methods of prediction in business; - the knowledge of multivariate analysis methods for their use in the business process research; - the knowledge of the features of coordination of international economic policy in the system of international organizations; - the knowledge of features of tariff regulation in the international trade, the modern international debt policy; -the knowledge of development peculiarities of system-forming branches of world major economies.
- to apply acquired knowledge and understanding for identification, formulation and solution tasks for development of international economic relations; - to think systematically and apply creative abilities to the formation of new ideas in international economic relations; - to substantiate theoretical concepts of state regulation of international trade in goods and services; - analyze structure of global economy by different factors of economic growth; - the ability to identify trends in the research of business processes and analysis large data sets and time series; - the ability to form scientific problems, organize and carry out of the scientific experiments; - the ability to work with scientific literature, critically evaluate data and create scientific texts; - to make a comparative analysis of the basic models and strategies of economic development.
- the ability to professionally and knowingly use securities and stock transactions for yourself or for the firm; - the ability to analyze the international capital movement and its basic forms, direct and portfolio foreign investments; - the ability to form and to justify indicative database for the diagnostics of the researched subject and object; - the ability to create indicative evaluation of the researched subject and object; - the ability to use computer programs, networks, databases and internet resources. - the ability to use different methods of analysis, prediction and modeling of development European economy.
Academic mobility: On the basis of bilateral agreements between the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and universities of Ukraine, as well as higher educational institutions of foreign partner countries.
