Characteristics of the educational program: The program is based on well-established principles and the results of modern scientific research in applied mechanics, focusing on the solution of specialised problems and practical applications that involve the use of relevant theories and methods. The main focus of the educational program and specialisation: general higher education and training in applied mechanics, including training of specialists capable of analysis, forecasting and decision-making in the design, construction, manufacture, operation and production of facilities and systems in mechanical engineering. Features of the program: focus on ensuring that higher education seekers obtain general competencies and professional competencies in certain practical lines (specialisations) of the program through the formation of specialised educational trajectories and student-centred educational process, in particular: 1) Robotic systems and complexes; 2) Engineering of logistics systems; 3) Mechanical engineering technologies; 4) Machines and packaging technologies; 5) Welding technologies and equipment; 6) Restoration and increase of wear resistance of details and designs.
Програмні результати навчання: a) basic sciences, to the extent necessary for the development of general professional academic disciplines; b) properties of structural materials, use of materials and consideration of their properties in the production and operation of metal structures; c) basic methods of research and analysis of loads, displacements, the stress-strain state in structural elements, methods of design and testing calculations of products; d) organisation of physical quantities measurements and their accuracy assessment in quality control and certification of production; e) basics of design and production of mechanical engineering structures and elements; f) principles of design, operation and programming of microprocessor technology for production process control systems; g) methods of forming parts on metal-cutting machines, layout, structure, control systems of machine tools, basic principles of programming the parts manufacture on technological equipment equipped with CNC; h) technological processes of production and their design methods and implementation; i) modern computer software tools for conducting comprehensive engineering preparation of production. Skills to: a) choose construction materials for practical use, taking into account their physical, mechanical properties; b) analyse and optimise the properties of mechanical systems by using the equivalent models and synthesise the block diagrams; c) develop and synthesise structural and schematic diagrams of technological equipment; d) analyse initial indicators to select functional parameters and design the main technological equipment and its elements, prepare sets of design documentation; e) reasonably select and apply technological equipment; f) work on modern computer technology and use specialised software for automated design and execution of special calculations in the field of applied mechanics; e) organise the work of the technical departments of mechanical engineering profile production. Communication: a) oral and written communication using Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French); b) use of special knowledge and terminology, in particular, in the field of applied mechanics and mechanical engineering, for communication at a professional level; c) verbal and written presentation of practical developments in the field of applied mechanics.
