Characteristics of the educational program: The program curriculum includes on-campus classes (lectures, seminars, laboratory classes and practical classes) and independent studies. The educational program is based on the well-known principles and results of modern scientific research in the field of nuclear power plants operation and it is focusing on the current specialization within which is possible further professional and scientific career. The scope of their activity is designing, operation, providing the culture of the safety, production, installation, set-up and repairing, creation of new equipment and an introduction of new technologies in the field of nuclear energy. The prolongation and the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, the handling with radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, the nuclear physical safety. During the training students get acquainted with the latest achievements and master modern approaches to the diagnosis and management of objects in the field of nuclear energy, based on software and hardware. As a result of the educational program, students receive basic training in the specialty, as well as computer technology, programming and use of software packages for computer-aided design and simulation of nuclear energy.
