Characteristics of the educational program: Educational and professional program is based on the generally known conditions and results of modern research in Telecommunications and Radio Engineering areas and focuses on further professional and academic career, related to information technologies, telecommunications and radio engineering. Educational and professional program consist of eight practical directions - Equipment for Broadcasting, Communication and Television; Information Communication Networks; Radioelectronic Devices, Systems and Complexes; Radioelectronic Apparatuses and Means; Radio Engineering; System Administration of Telecommunication Networks; Telecommunication Systems and Networks; Technologies and Means of Telecommunications. The total amount of the educational program - 240 ECTS credits, including modules: cycle of humanitarian and socio-economic education - 20 cr., cycle of natural-scientific education - 72 cr., cycle of professional education - 88 cr., student's choice disciplines - 12 cr., specializations professional disciplines - 48 cr.
Gained competence: 1. Basic knowledge of fundamental sciences in amount, necessary for the study of general professional disciplines; 2. Basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of philosophy, political science, which contributing to the development of general culture and socialization, tendency to ethical values, knowledge of economics, understanding of the causation of social development of person and the ability to use them in professional and social activities; 3. Basic knowledge of telecommunications and radio engineering, necessary to study professionally oriented disciplines; 4. Basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods required for understanding the operation principles of telecommunication and radio systems and devices, electronic equipment; 5. Knowledge of programming and computing technics, computer operation skills for solving special tasks; 6. Basic knowledge of technical specifications, design features, purpose and rules of operation of the communication, radio and electronic equipment; 7. Knowledge of occupational safety, industrial hygiene and fire safety during the work with tools and equipment; 8. Knowledge of modern technological processes and systems of technological production deployment; 9. Basic knowledge of main regulations and reference materials, standards and specifications, instructions and other legal and administrative documents in electronics and telecommunications.

Ability to written and oral communication in Ukrainian, knowledge of the other languages; 5. Responsibility for the quality of the performed work; 6. The ability to apply and integrate the knowledge and understanding of disciplines in other engineering domains; 7. The ability to use and implement new information technologies, participate in the modernization and reconstruction of equipment, devices, systems and complexes, in order to improve their efficiency; 8. The ability to understand and consider the social, environmental, ethical and economic aspects which influence the formation of technical solutions; 9. Ability to use professional-focused knowledges and practical skills for solving typical problems of specialty, and telecommunication and radio systems and equipment maintenance; 10. The ability to use the knowledge and skills to calculate, research, decide, implement, repair and design of radio and telecommunication systems and their components; 11. Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and social level; 12. Ability to work both individually and as a team.
1. Ability to identify, classify and describe systems and components, using analytical and simulation methods; 2. Ability to explore the problem and identify constraints, including problems caused by sustainable development, environmental impact and life safety; 3. Ability to design systems and their components considering all aspects of the assigned task, including design, development, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal; 4. Ability to choose methods for specialized tasks, critically evaluate the results and to defend made decisions.

Professional profile — Radio Engineering Systems and Complexes Develops structure, designing and functionality principles of specialized navigation, control and distant communication systems. Performs maintenance of radiolocation, motion control, measurement and applied television systems. Professional profile — Radioelectronic Devices and Equipment Designs radioelectronic equipment of various purposes, their design and design documentation. Develops information technologies for radioelectronic equipment, including databases and specialized software. Professional profile — Telecommunication Technologies and Equipment Designs telecommunication equipment of various purposes, including mobile communication systems, fiber optic equipment and end user devices. Uses telecommunication technologies for data transmission, processing and storage. Professional profile — Information and Communication Networks Plans and designs wired and wireless information networks. Develops software for information networks. Performs planning and exploitation of information security systems. Has information and telecommunication systems and networks programming skills. Applies cloud technologies for distributed service systems designing. Professional profile — System Administration of Telecommunications Performs telecommunication networks and information systems administration. Applies network technologies and protocols during designing and maintenance of telecommunication networks. Is able to deploy software in corporate information and communication networks, data centers and cloud environments.
