Characteristics of the educational program: The purpose of the educational program: to provide theoretical knowledge and practical abilities and skills for successful performance in the area related to a specialty "Telecommunication technologies and equipment"
Програмні результати навчання: Knowledge: - fundamentals of digital communication systems development; - fundamentals of satellite communication systems functioning; - fundamentals of telecommunication systems and networks modelling and optimization; - software interfaces for information and communication systems; - methods of information transmission reliability control; - informaton security methods and facilities. Abilities: - mathematical modelling of telecommunication devices and systems; - development of software interfaces for multiservice networks; - telecommunication systems and networks optimizing; - utilizing wireless technologies for mobile communication systems development; - maintenance of reliability control and information security in telecommunication. Communication: - an ability to communicate effectively in a professional and social level; - an ability to work both individually and in a team, in particular, in the cross-functional and interdisciplinary team. Skills to work independently (thesis), or in a group (laboratory works, including leadership skills at their implementation), an ability to get a result within limited time; - skills of telecommunication networks technical condition evaluation; - specialized competence in suggesting telecommunication networks topology and implementation technology; - estimation of reliability and information security level in telecommunication networks; - capacity to determine earth stations access to space segment techniques. Autonomy and responsibility: - an ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions - an ability to recognise the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and new professional knowledge - an ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goals in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics
