Specific admission requirements: The rules of admission to graduate school set requirements for entrants, taking into account the specifics of the educational and scientific program (ONP). Entrants must provide scientific papers on the topic (content) which corresponds to the characteristics of the SNP. These works include: scientific works and patents for inventions (author's certificates of inventions) / in the absence of scientific works and patents-abstract.
Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Provided that the previous level was obtained in another country, nostrification is required, which is carried out by Lviv Polytechnic.

Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific program is based on fundamental postulates and a wide range of modern innovative vectors of development of the theory and practice of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration. Aimed at the development of theoretical and methodological and methodological and applied base in the field of culture and art, with the emphasis on the latest trends in the specialty, which deepens the professional scientific worldview and provides a basis for research and further professional activities.
Gained competence: 1. Deep knowledge of the conceptual-methodological and methodological-applied principles of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration in historical and modern perspectives, its conceptual and categorical apparatus and practical experience. 2. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the philosophical methodology of cognition, the key principles of professional ethics, the system of moral and cultural values. 3. Ability to initiate and conduct original research, identify current scientific problems, search and critically analyze information, produce innovative constructive ideas and apply non-standard approaches to solving complex and atypical problems. 4. Ability to show oratory and rhetorical skills in presenting research results, conduct professional scientific discussions and discussions with the general scientific community and the public in Ukrainian, form scientific texts in writing, organize and conduct classes, use advanced information and communication tools. 5. Deep knowledge of the historical foundations of the development of theory and practice of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration. Knowledge of current trends and current scientific achievements in the field of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration. 6. Deep knowledge of classical and modern scientific tools for the study of historical, cultural, socio-economic, architectural and artistic, conservation and restoration processes and phenomena in various fields of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration. 7. In-depth knowledge of theoretical and applied principles of various types and areas of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration.

Ability to initiate, substantiate and manage current research projects of an innovative nature, independently conduct research, interact in a team and identify leadership skills in the implementation of research projects. 3. Ability to identify and understand the causal links between historical and cultural phenomena and processes in the field of fine arts, decorative arts and restoration, to identify and assess the factors of influence. 4. Ability to develop and implement art and restoration projects, including own research, which provide an opportunity to rethink existing or create new knowledge. 5. Ability to justify the choice of method of solving a scientific problem, critically evaluate the results and defend decisions.
