Програмні результати навчання: Knowledge (Knowledge)
Zn 1. Have advanced conceptual and methodological knowledge in sociology and at the border of subject areas, as well as research skills sufficient to conduct scientific and applied research at the level of the latest world achievements in the relevant field, and obtain new knowledge in the field of sociology and/or implement innovations .
Zn 2. To develop and implement scientific and/or applied projects that provide an opportunity to rethink existing and create new integral knowledge and/or professional practice and to solve significant scientific and technological problems of sociology, taking into account ethical, social, economic and legal aspects.
Zn 3. Formulate and test hypotheses; use appropriate evidence to substantiate conclusions, in particular the results of empirical research and theoretical analysis of social systems and processes, available sociological data.
Zn 4. Deeply understand the general principles and methods of social and behavioral sciences, as well as the methodology of scientific research, apply them in one's own research in the field of sociology and in teaching practice.
Zn 5. The ability to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of the decisions made and the results obtained in the process of research work on social processes, on the settlement of social problems.
Skills
Sk. 1. Plan and perform empirical and / or theoretical research in sociology and related interdisciplinary areas using modern tools and compliance with professional and academic ethics.
Sk. 2. Critically analyze and summarize the results of their own research and the work of other researchers in the context of the whole complex of modern knowledge about the research problem.
Sk. 3. Apply modern tools and technologies for information retrieval, processing and analysis, in particular statistical methods of analysis of large data and / or complex structure, specialized databases and information systems.
Sk. 4. To develop and teach special disciplines in sociology in higher education institutions, to provide educational and methodological support for the educational process.
Sk. 5. Assess the feasibility and feasibility of new research methods and technologies in solving professional problems
Communication
K1. Freely present and discuss with specialists and non-specialists the results of research, scientific and applied problems of sociology in national and foreign languages, publish the results of research in leading scientific publications.

Occupational profiles of graduates: A graduate of the program can apply for the positions of researcher in research institutes of the NAS of Ukraine, teacher of social and behavioral sciences of different levels of accreditation, consultant and expert in academic, educational institutions, social research centers, advertising agencies and public relations departments, mass media, international and domestic scientific projects and programs, public self-government bodies and state power structures.
Other program features: The educational component of the educational and scientific program covers a wide range of innovative areas of development of the theory and practice of sociology, which contributes to the actualization of the theoretical and applied basis for the implementation of scientific research.
The scientific component of the educational and scientific program is determined by the individual curriculum of the graduate student.
