Specific admission requirements: Admission rules for postgraduate study set requirements for admission, taking into account the features of SNP. Entrants must provide scientific papers with topics (content) that are relevant to the features of the SNP. These works include the rules: scientific works and patents for inventions (copyright certificates of inventions) / in the absence of scientific works and patents, abstracts. The entrance exams are conducted on the basis of the entrance examination programs, the content of which takes into account the features of the SNP. These programs are published on the University's website three weeks before the start of the introductory campaign, are reviewed annually and updated as needed. This is done centrally on the order of the Rector before the entrance company. These committees include Candidates of Science (PhD) and Doctor of Science (PhD) who carry out scientific research in their respective specialty and are responsible for the implementation of SNP training for PhD students.
Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: if the previous level is obtained in another country, the nostrification is carried out by Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Characteristics of the educational program: the educational and scientific program is based on the fundamental principles and concepts of law and the results of modern scientific research. It is aimed at the development of theoretical and methodological, methodological and applied basis of law with accentuation of the latest tendencies of law development, which deepens the professional scientific outlook and provides the basis for scientific research and further professional and scientific activity.
Gained competence: 1. In-depth knowledge of contemporary worldview concepts of legal thinking, legal consciousness and legal culture. 2. In-depth knowledge of patterns of formation and development of state and law. 3. Knowledge of theoretical and applied problems of realization and protection of fundamental human rights in the field of public law. 4. In-depth knowledge of current trends in law interpretation. 5. In-depth knowledge of legal regulation of public-management activity 6. In-depth knowledge of methodological support for the unity of judicial practice in the application of administrative, criminal and criminal procedural law. 7. In-depth knowledge of legal support for Ukraine's accession to a single European scientific and innovative space. 8. Knowledge and understanding of philosophical methodology of scientific knowledge, psychological and pedagogical aspects of professional and scientific activity, formation of own scientific outlook and moral and cultural values. 9. Knowledge of English required for oral and written presentation of the results of research, conducting a professional scientific dialogue, full understanding of English-language scientific texts. 10. Ability to communicate in a business scientific and professional language, apply different styles of speech, methods and techniques of communication, demonstrate a broad scientific and professional vocabulary. 11. Ability to apply modern information and communication tools and technologies to ensure effective scientific and professional communications.
1. To apply the acquired knowledge from different subject areas of law to formulate and justify new theoretical provisions and practical recommendations in a specific field of research. 2. Apply modern methods of analysis to establish the unity of human rights, democracy and the rule of law as fundamental values of the modern world. 3. Apply knowledge of the laws of the relationship between national and international law.

Academic mobility: Within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program on the basis of bilateral agreements between the National University «Lviv Polytechnic» and the educational institutions of the partner countries.
