Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific program is based on well-known statements and results of modern scientific researches on planetary and physical geodesy, space monitoring of the Earth, cartography, geospatial modeling, geophysics, geodynamics, meteorology and climatology and is oriented on further both professional and scientific career. It is aimed at the development of both theoretical and methodological and methodological and applied base for monitoring the Earth's surface and its atmosphere, geomatics with the accentuation of the latest technologies and trends of topogeodetic and cartographic activity, which deepens the professional scientific outlook and provides the basis for further scientific research.
Gained competence: 1. Ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of disciplines of other engineering fields, 2. Ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized tasks, critically evaluate the results obtained and defend the decisions made, 3. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the scientific and mathematical principles underlying the Earth sciences, 4. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of professionally oriented disciplines of the specialty, 5. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of national and foreign scientific achievements and theoretical and applied foundations in at least one area of ??Earth sciences: geodesy, cartography, geophysics, geodynamics, meteorology and climatology, 6. Ability to demonstrate current state of the art and advanced technology, and skills in conducting experiments, collecting data, modeling and analyzing the results obtained in Earth sciences,
7. To apply the acquired knowledge from various subject areas in the field of Earth sciences to formulate and substantiate new theoretical statements and practical recommendations, 8. Integrate and apply the acquired knowledge from different cross-curricular areas in the process of solving theoretical and applied problems in a specific field of research, 9. To select and apply the methodology and tools of scientific research in carrying out theoretical and empirical studies in the field of Earth sciences, 10. Conduct scientific research and carry out scientific projects on the basis of identification of current scientific problems, definition of goals and objectives, formation and critical analysis of information base, substantiation and commercialization of research results, formulation of author's conclusions and proposals, 11. To perform geospatial modeling of objects, processes and phenomena, 12. Conduct scientific discussion and discussion in Ukrainian and foreign language at the appropriate professional level, present the results of scientific research in oral and written form, organize and conduct training sessions,
