Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific program of the Doctor of Philosophy is based on the solution of complex problems in the field of electronics and telecommunications, which determines the conduct research and innovation activities and involves a deep rethinking of existing and creation of new holistic knowledge that contributes to the practical implementation of the results.
Gained competence: 1. Ability to demonstrate systematic knowledge of modern research methods in the field of electronics and electronic engineering. 2. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in the chosen field of research. 3. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of technical solutions in a social, economic and social context.
1. Search, analyze and critically evaluate information of different types of sources. 2. Apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems of synthesis and analysis of elements and systems characteristic of the chosen research field. 3. Investigate and model phenomena and processes in complex electronic systems. 4. Apply a systematic approach, integrating knowledge from other disciplines and considering non-technical aspects, when solving theoretical and applied problems of the chosen research field. 5. To combine theory and practice and to make decisions and develop a strategy for solving scientific and applied problems, considering universal values, social, state and industrial interests. 6. Work effectively both individually and as a team. 7. Independently perform experimental research and apply research skills. 8. Assess the feasibility and possibility of new methods and technologies for the development of elements and devices of electronic equipment. 9. Argue the choice of methods for solving a scientific-applied problem, critically evaluate the results and defend the decisions made.
