Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and professional program is based on modern engineering and technical developments and the results of scientific research in the field of civil engineering and architecture and is oriented towards actual specialization, within the framework of which a further professional career is possible: systems and structures designed for intake, transportation, purification and distribution of natural water among consumers; wastewater treatment and sludge utilization; water supply and sewerage systems of industrial enterprises. The main focus is on resource-saving water supply and sewerage systems of settlements and industrial enterprises. The specialization "Water Supply and Sewerage" includes the following areas: systems and structures designed for intake, transportation, purification and distribution of natural water among consumers; disposal and utilization of sewage sludge; communal and industrial water supply and sewerage systems.
Програмні результати навчання: -design buildings and structures (according to specialization), including using computer-aided design tools. -make effective design and technical decisions, taking into account the specific features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, techno-economic justification, determination of the optimal operating mode, and implementation of resource and energy-saving measures. -conduct technical expertise of construction projects and civil engineering objects (according to specialization), ensuring compliance with project tasks, technical conditions, and other current regulatory documents in the field of architecture and construction. -ensure quality in the implementation of construction and civil engineering projects. -communicate fluently in the state language, both orally and in writing, to discuss professional issues and report on activities in the field of architecture and construction. -apply modern mathematical methods for the analysis of statistical data, calculation, and optimization of design parameters and technological processes for the construction of buildings and structures. -develop occupational safety and environmental protection measures during research and in production activities. -select modern materials, technologies, and methods for performing construction works, considering the architectural and planning, constructive part of the project, and the production base of the construction organization. -collect necessary information using scientific and technical literature, databases, and other sources, analyze and evaluate it. -ability to engage in commercial and economic activities in the protection of intellectual property in the field of architecture and construction. -manage complex, unpredictable construction processes that require new strategic approaches. -apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities to plan, execute, and control the quality of design and exploration works in the field of water supply and sewerage. -apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities for planning, executing, and quality control of construction, installation, and commissioning works in the field of water supply and sewerage. -apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities for planning, implementation, and operational control during the operation of water supply and sewerage systems. -apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities for planning and performing organizational and managerial activities, as well as performing control functions in the field of water supply and sewerage. -apply acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify, formulate, and solve tasks of reconstruction, modernization, and development of water supply and sewerage systems using known methods and practices. -plan and conduct research in the field of water supply and sewerage systems, apply research skills in professional activities, analyze and critically evaluate the obtained results, and defend decisions made. -specialized conceptual knowledge, including modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or knowledge area, forming the basis for original thinking and research. -critical reflection on issues in the field and at the boundaries of knowledge areas. -specialized problem-solving skills necessary for research and/or innovative activities to develop new knowledge and procedures. -ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts. -ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments with incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility. -communication skills, including oral and written communication. -ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at professional and social levels. -management of work or educational processes that are complex, unpredictable, and require new strategic approaches. -responsibility for contributions to professional knowledge and practice and/or evaluation of the results of team and collective activities. -ability to continue learning with a high degree of autonomy.
