Characteristics of the educational program: Educationalandprofessionaltrainingprogramisbasedontheknownpositionsandresultsofmodernscientificresearchinengineeringgeodesy, cartography, landandrealtyrating,GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing, satellite geodesy, and oriented to the future professional and scientific carrier.
Program objective is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills, sufficient to successfully perform their professional duties specialty 193 Geodesy and Land management on specialization of Land and estate appraisal and prepare students for future employment in the chosen specialty. Provide the knowledge for the professional activities with the possible continuation of the study to get higher level of the qualification skill.
Training process is organized in the form of lectures, laboratory and practical training, coursework, research work, self-work and implementation of master's thesis.Modern laboratories will be used for the proper formation of the educational process at the departments of the Institute of Geodesy.
An obligatory research practice should be done in the frame of master’s degree qualification project, according to the specialization, and all students should complete both: practical and theoretical research.
The total amount of educational and professional program - 90 ECTS credits, including general training cycle.: - 6 cr., cycle of professional training - 84 cr.
Програмні результати навчання: 1. Have specialized conceptual knowledge, including modern scientific achievements in the field of geodesy and land management, sufficient for conducting research and implementing innovations.
2. Communicate freely orally and in writing in national and foreign languages on matters of professional activity, research and innovations in the field of geodesy and land management.
3. Make effective decisions regarding the solution of tasks of an applied, research and/or innovative nature in the field of geodesy and land management, analyze alternatives, make forecasts, assess risks, in particular in conditions of incomplete and/or contradictory information and ambiguous requirements.
4. Build and research conceptual, mathematical and computer models of objects and processes, apply them to create innovations in the field of geodesy and land management.
5. Create and develop geospatial data infrastructures, process and publish geospatial data and metadata related to geodesy and land management.
6. Cooperate with customers and executors of works and services, prepare tender proposals in the field of geodesy and land management, conclude relevant contracts.
7. To justify the choice of equipment, technologies and processes in relation to production management and conducting research in the field of geodesy and land management and related fields.
8. Develop and manage projects taking into account technological conditions and requirements for production management in the field of geodesy and land management and related interdisciplinary areas, taking into account economic, social, environmental and legal aspects; prepare technical tasks, applications for project financing, plan work, plan resources and manage them.
9. Develop and implement measures for operational and prospective management, forecasting and planning of geodetic, cartographic and land management production, taking into account available resources and time constraints.
10. To protect intellectual property, to commercialize the results of research, invention and design activities.
11. Perform a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the state of geodesy and land management objects and evaluate the consequences of implementing practical measures.
12. Clearly and unambiguously convey one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments in the field of geodesy and land management to specialists and non-specialists, in particular to students.
13. Carry out surveys, tests, diagnostics, monitoring of geodesy and land management objects, develop land protection measures and assess their consequences.
14. Critically consider modern problems and prospective directions of development of geodesy and land management, tangential interdisciplinary problems.

Work placement(s): An important aspect of master’s training of Geodesy and Land Management is the practice by the topic of master's thesis, which takes place in the laboratory of the Institute of Geodesy, surveing companies and department al offices of engineering profile.

Occupational profiles of graduates: Performs works on designing and creation of estate appraisal of different directing for cartography, cadastre, urban planning, environmental protection, geology, hydrology and more. Creates information space for making smart management decisions based on analysis.
Conducts scientific researches in field of of Land and estate appraisal and designing information systems.
Can engage in teaching in higher education institutions, conduct advanced training of specialists of industrial sphere, manage scientific projects.
