Characteristics of the educational program: Educational and vocational program is based on the principles and results of modern researches on information, library and archive science, enabling possible future professional and academic career. Educational and vocational program consists of the three practical lines: Information Activitiy, Documentation Processes Management, Library and Archive Science.
Програмні результати навчання: Apply knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems of the specialty, using known methods. Apply knowledge and understanding to solve problems of synthesis and analysis in systems that are characteristic of the chosen specialization. Systematically think and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas. Apply knowledge of technical characteristics, design features, purpose and rules of computer equipment operation and office equipment to solve technical problems of the specialty. Calculate, operate, set up typical for the chosen specialization computer and office equipment. Search for information in various sources to solve specialty problems Work effectively both individually and as a team. Identify, classify and describe the operation of information systems and their components. Combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions and develop a strategy for solving the problems of the specialty (specialization), taking into account universal values, social, state and industrial interests. Perform appropriate experimental research and apply research skills on professional topics. Evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made with arguments. Ability to communicate, including oral, written and electronic communication in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish). Ability to use a variety of methods, including information technology, to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels. Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions. Ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge. Ability to treat the work responsibly and achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of occupational safety and health and their application.

The professional training level of "Іnformation, library and archival science" specialty graduates allows working in the public and private sectors of information, library and archive fields, including: management of information products and services, information management, PR-technologies, community management, administrative management, information consulting.
