Characteristics of the educational program: Objects of study: social relations and interaction; individual, social groups, communities and societies; social phenomena and processes; Public Opinion; culture; social institutions; social structures and inequalities; social changes and influences; social problems and conflicts in society at the local, regional, national and global levels. Theoretical content: social relations and interaction; personality, social groups and communities; social phenomena and processes; social practices; social institutions; culture; social structures and inequalities; social changes and influences; social problems and conflicts in society, both at the national and global levels. Methods, techniques and technologies: modern methods of collecting, processing and analysis of sociological information, methods of diagnosis, examination and forecasting, information and communication technologies to solve problems of professional activity. Tools and equipment: modern universal and specialized information technologies (communication, search, analytical).
Програмні результати навчання: ПР01. Analyze social phenomena and processes using empirical data and modern concepts and theories of sociology.
ПР02. Carry out diagnostics and interpretation of social problems of Ukrainian society and the world community, their causes and consequences.
ПР03. Develop and implement social and interdisciplinary projects taking into account social, economic, legal, environmental and other aspects of public life.
ПР04.Apply scientific knowledge, sociological and statistical methods, digital technologies, specialized software to solve complex problems of sociology and related fields of knowledge.
ПР05. Search, analyze and evaluate the necessary information in the scientific literature, data banks and other sources.
ПР06. Fluently communicate orally and in writing in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages when discussing professional issues, research and innovation in the field of sociology and related sciences, including in the context of cooperation with European and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
ПР07. Solve ethical dilemmas in accordance with the norms of professional ethics of the sociologist and universal values.
ПР08. It is clear and unambiguous to convey knowledge, own conclusions and arguments on sociology and related fields of knowledge to professionals and non-specialists, in particular to students.
ПР09. Plan and carry out research in the field of sociology, analyze the results, justify the conclusions.
ПР10. To popularize sociological and related knowledge.
ПР11. Apply basic skills of discourse-analytical procedures on the examples of texts of different genres and topics.
