Characteristics of the educational program: Objects of study: principles and regularities of functioning of the social sphere as a set of institutions of social protection, social insurance, and other institutions of the social sphere in accordance with their functions and powers. Learning objectives: training of social security specialists who are able to solve complex management problems and problems in social institutions Theoretical content of the subject area: concepts, concepts, principles of management processes in social institutions. Methods, techniques and technologies: General: general management, general scientific, scientific research. In the field of social security: socio-economic, organizational and administrative, legal, sociological and statistical, psychological, diagnostic. Tools and equipment: modern universal and specialized information systems and software products used in the social sphere and in scientific research. Formation of a holistic healthy (based on a holistic approach) personality of a general social welfare specialist, ready for management activities at all levels of government in social institutions, to creatively solve various social problems and meet customer needs on a legal basis to self-development, self-actualization, self-realization.
Програмні результати навчання: 1. To use modern theories, methodology and methods of social and other sciences in relation to the tasks of basic and applied research in the field of social protection. 2. Critically evaluate the results of scientific research and various sources of knowledge on social security, formulate conclusions and recommendations for its implementation. 3. Possession of communication methods in the application of various forms of interaction and joint activities. 4. To use foreign sources in the performance of research and applied activities, to express themselves in a foreign language, both orally and in writing. 5. Design a theoretical model of work with social security objects within social services, organizations, institutions. 6. Independently and autonomously find information necessary for the development of professional skills and qualities. 7. Apply general and specialized software to solve professional problems and conduct research. 8. To make decisions independently in difficult and unpredictable situations. 9. To organize joint activities of specialists from different fields and non-professionals, to prepare them for the implementation of social assistance tasks. 10. Explain and provide reasonable answers to the population about the forms, methods and means of providing social assistance, pensions and insurance. 11. To plan and conduct research in the system of social protection of the population and to highlight their results. 12. Identify the needs of different segments of the population and develop appropriate social protection programs to address them. 13. Analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of socio-economic support for the population and make appropriate adjustments within the area of activity. 14. Demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving professional problems. 15. To determine the possibilities of constitutional and legal regulation of social relations, to provide optimal models of social and legal support focused on universal values. 16. Develop training programs and exchange of experience in the social protection system. 17. Demonstrate a positive attitude to their profession and comply with the ethical principles and standards of social work. 18. Develop and test social projects and technologies.

Work placement(s): An important aspect of training specialists in the management of social institutions is management and training practices that take place in social protection institutions, such as: Departments of Social Protection of regional state administrations, structural units of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Employment Fund of Ukraine, and other institutions of the social sphere

Other program features: The uniqueness of the program is that it develops in higher education management skills in organizing the activities of social institutions, and provides mandatory management and research practice, implementation and public defense of the master's thesis. The program provides two lines: Line 1 - "Management of strategic development of social institutions" involves the training of specialists capable of effective management of strategic development of institutions of social protection and social insurance. Line 2 - "Personnel management in social institutions" involves the training of specialists capable of selection, selection and management of personnel in social institutions, supervision of personnel, human development management and human resources.
