Characteristics of the educational program: The program is based on the well-known scientific results with regard to the present state of information technologies; emphasis on willingness to work and acquire skills, knowledge of computer science and information technology, mathematical and computer modeling of the processes and systems of various nature, problems of prediction, design, optimization, system analysis and decision making, analysis and synthesis of data and knowledge, etc. Research line is professionally oriented, expert line is practically oriented.
Gained competence: 1. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical principles that lie at the heart of information technology; 2. The ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of at least one of the areas of information technology; 3. The ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to the conduct of experiments, data collection and modeling in the subject area; 4. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of information systems design methodologies; 5. The ability to demonstrate the knowledge of the present state of affairs and the latest technologies in the field of information technologies; 6. The ability to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of engineering solutions in public, economic, social and ecological context; 7. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of Economics and project management.
1. Apply knowledge and understanding for the identification, formulation and solution of technical problems, using known methods; 2. Apply knowledge and understanding for the solution of problems of synthesis and analysis systems that are characteristic of the chosen specialization; 3. Systematic thinking and apply creativity to the formation of fundamentally new ideas; 4. Apply knowledge of technical characteristics, structural features, the purpose and rules of operation of the equipment and equipment to solve technical problems of the speciality; 5. Calculate, design, develop, explore, exploit, establish systems and objects for the selected specialization; 6. Search for information in different sources for solving problems of the speciality; 7. Effectively work both individually and in a team; 8. Identify, classify, and describe the work of systems and their components; 9.
