Characteristics of the educational program: Ability to solve specialized problems and practical problems during professional activities in the field of automation and instrumentation, robotics, metrology and information-measuring technology, development of electronic devices and measuring instruments, processing of measuring information and a number of organizational skills in metrology .
Gained competence: 1. Knowledge of the basics of modern methods and means of measurement, control and testing; 2. Knowledge of the basics of modern methods and means of automation and computerization by installing microcontrollers in the design of sensors, devices and systems; 3. Knowledge of the structure, basics of work and features of information-measuring and robotic systems and ensuring their metrological characteristics; 4. Knowledge of the basics of methods and features of design and testing of software for measuring instruments; 5. Knowledge of the basics of the organization of the technological process of development and manufacture of measuring instruments and their certification; 6. Knowledge of the basic principles of metrology, standardization and certification; 7. Knowledge of the basics of object-oriented programming and metro-logical verification of software tools.
1. Ability to plan experimental research, justify the choice of their hardware and software, process the results and present them in the appropriate form; 2. Ability to formulate tasks and problems of technological support and organization of production of devices and robotic systems; 3. Ability to analyze the metrological features of controlled processes, correctly select measuring equipment and facilities, compare characteristics and choose methods and tools for measuring and testing software, identify areas and opportunities for improvement; 4. Ability to formalize the description of the research object, determine its parameters and make suggestions for their improvement; 5. Ability to assess the current level and prospects for the development of technical means of measurement, control and testing. 6. Ability to ensure the unity of measurements in accordance with established practice; 7. Ability to assess the need for the level of competitiveness and patentability of intellectual property (sensors, devices, metrological and robotic systems) in the enterprise; 8. Ability to teach professional disciplines in educational institutions, to conduct laboratory and practical classes, to develop methodological support for theoretical, laboratory and practical classes in professional disciplines; 9. Ability to organize and conduct research at enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership.
