Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Applicants for the Bachelor’s Degree are obliged to prove the recognition of their secondary education which is arranged by Lviv Polytechnic National University. There are no possibilities for recognizing non-formal and informal education.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Successful fulfilment of the Bachelor’s educational and qualification level of appropriate year of enrollment. Fulfilment of the curriculum elements, including the Bachelor’s Thesis Internship, Qualification Examination and Bachelor’s Thesis Defence.
Characteristics of the educational program: The aim of educational and professional program is to form students knowledge, skills and abilities, necessary for successful professional activity in the field of international information and international communications, as well as to prepare for further study.
Gained competence: - to know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations; - to know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the peculiarities of its realization at the global, regional and national levels, the nature and approaches to resolving international and internationalized conflicts; - to know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of state and non-state actors in world politics; - to know principles, mechanisms and processes of ensuring the foreign policy of states, interaction between foreign and domestic policy, definition and international implementation of state national interests, the process of formation and implementation of foreign policy decisions; - to know the nature and mechanisms of international communication; - to know the nature and character of the interaction between particular countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels.
- to describe and analyze the international situation, to collect the necessary information from various sources about international and foreign policy events and processes; - to collect, process and analyze large amounts of information on the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communication; - to study the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communication, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, to present research results, give appropriate recommendations; - to communicate fluently in national and foreign languages at the professional level required for professional discussions, preparation of analytical and research documents; - to carry out applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the objectives, prepare information and analytical documents.
- to possess skills of professional interpretation and translation from / into foreign languages, in particular, on professional topics of international cooperation, foreign policy, international communication, regional studies, bilateral and multilateral international projects; - to conduct a professional discussion on issues of international relations, international communication, regional studies, foreign policy, argue own position, respect opponents and their views.

Work placement(s): Bachelor’s Thesis internship is intended to study questions analyzed in the Bachelor’s Thesis on the basis of actual state of things, which exists within internship bases such as ventures and organizations.

Occupational profiles of graduates: 1. Analyst in the area of crisis management and information consulting with knowledge of foreign languages. The object of the bachelor's activity is the causes, nature and consequences of political and legal decision-making in the context of crisis social and political phenomena at the global, regional and national levels. The bachelor's activities are related to holding primary positions in the organization and implementation of information and analytical activities in international relations and social communication. Using the methods of crisis communications, data visualization technologies, fundamental knowledge about the information and knowledge society and the protection of human rights therein, the bachelor provides services in the search and analysis of information, preparation of analytical documents for the optimization of decision-making in states in general and in relation to forecasting crises and conflicts in particular. 2. Analyst in the area of information management and media monitoring with knowledge of foreign languages. The object of the bachelor's activity is the toolkit of the information and communication sphere, in particular, the one used in media monitoring at the regional and national levels. The bachelor's activities are related to holding primary positions related to information activities in state and local self-government bodies, international intergovernmental, as well as non-governmental organizations, private companies. Using international information systems and technologies, databases, indexes and ratings, as well as information and communication technologies for the construction of social processes and branding, the bachelor provides services for information and analytical support of the internal and external policies of the state, creating a high-quality information product.

Other program features: The experimental nature of the educational program is implemented through the use of modern information technologies and systems for searching and analyzing information in the field of international relations, as well as the application of theoretical and applied models for the study of current problems of international communications.
